Please help up in congratulating the CMS Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Krusinsky, and the CMS First Class Teacher Mrs. Means! They are both wonderful teachers who lead by example, and they are both appreciated for all that they do! We are proud to have such excellent teachers here at CMS.

Please support our students who will participate in NAEP on February 23. Your support comes in the form of speaking positively about the assessment. Here are a few videos that you can view to guide your comments and conversation with your students. Although fewer than 50 students will take the NAEP assessment, speak to all students as if they are taking the assessment. They could take it in the future.

In this issue of the Lawton Public Schools (LPS) ReView, we highlight our very own LPS Police Department and their efforts to promote consistently drug-free environments for our students, celebrate Hispanic Heritage, and congratulate student successes. Additionally, we wanted to put a spotlight on our teachers’ ongoing professional development, our TAP students, and our hardworking virtual staff. There is so much to unpack in this issue, and we hope you will take the time to really dive in to our latest publication of the ReView!
